Bella Visits Local Butcher - Barb's Butchery in Beacon NY

Bella loves visiting local businesses. This time she couldn't go inside but her favorite butcher came out and delivered a marrow-filled beef bone. Barb's does raw and smoked bones and lots of other tidbits for puppies. Here's the full scoop on her website.

And here's Bella's newest video from her visit. =)

Active Dog Activity - DIY project with things around your home - Scavenger Hunt for Dog

Bella is an active dog and loves to be challenged both mentally and physically. And her breed needs an average of 3 hours of exercise per day so we are always looking for creative and cost effective ways to keep her engaged. She is smart enough that she suffers from boredom, so variety is another factor we consider.

We have created the According to Bella Scavenger Hunt - a great activity that can be set up for beginner to advanced and can be done indoors or outdoors. It takes only about 10 minutes to set up and utilizes things you probably already have around your home.

All you need is the following:
  • Paper towels
  • Paper towel and toilet paper rolls (empty)
  • Empty boxes (from products you use around your home, varying in size)
  • Empty cups
  • Dog Treats
Watch the video for full instructions and to see the According to Bella Scavenger hunt in action.

New Bella Video - Obedience Training with Professional Dog Trainer

Bella is doing great practicing the Obedience Training she learned in her first session with Professional Dog Trainer, Shelby Place.

Bella has been practicing SIT STAY DOWN and WATCH ME. She is doing great in practice but still needs to work on it some more. When someone came to the door and rang the bell today, she was having none of the commands and couldn't help coming down the stairs to see who it was.

But it's only been a few days so we are all patient and still working at it. Here's a great video!
